How To Get Started With The R1 From GET REPS
You’re now ready to take your lacrosse training to the next level! Here’s a detailed guide to help you get started and make the most of your R1 Smart Lacrosse Ball from Get Reps.
Unboxing the R1 SMART Lacrosse Ball
When you receive your R1 Smart Lacrosse Ball, you’ll find the following items in the package:
- GET REPS Official drawstring bag
- The R1 Smart Lacrosse Ball
- The R1 Wireless Charging Cradle
- 120-volt AC/DC Adapter with power cord
Charging the Ball
- Plug in the Charger: Connect the charger to a power outlet. You will see a green light indicating that it is ready to use.
- Place the Ball on the Charger: Position the ball with the white side down on the charger. The light will turn red, signaling that the ball is charging.
- Fully Charged Indicator: When the light on the charger changes from red back to green, your ball is fully charged and ready for use.
- Remove and Unplug: Take the ball off the charger and unplug it. You’re now ready to proceed with the setup.
Downloading and Logging into the App
- Download the App: Go to your App Store and search for “GET REPS Lacrosse.” Download and install the app.
- Create an Account:
- Open the app and click “Create Account.”
- Enter your email, phone number, and choose a password.
- Confrim Your Email:
- Check your email inbox for a confirmation code. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
- Enter the confirmation code into the app to activate your account.
- Log In: Once your account is set up, log in to the app.
Connecting the Ball to the App
- Wake Up the Ball: After charging, wake up your R1 Smart Lacrosse Ball by giving it a few firm power cradles. This will bring it out of low power mode, making it detectable by the app.
- Scan For Balls:
- Open the app, click the R1 Bluetooth icon in the top right corner, and select "Scan for Balls."
- When your ball appears on the screen, click “Watch” and then close the menu.
- Update Firmware:
- Open the app, click the R1 Bluetooth icon in the top right corner, and select "Scan for Balls."
- When your ball appears on the screen, click “Watch” and then close the menu.
- Note: If you own more than one R1 Smart Lacrosse Ball, make sure to repeat the firmware update process for each one by selecting each R1 Ball from the drop-down menu and repeating the above step.
Exploring the App Features
- Check Connection: Once the ball is successfully connected, you will see a "1" in the top right-hand corner of the app, confirming the connection.
- Choose Your Training Style: Navigate to the “Training” section of the app, where you can select from different training styles such as shooting or wall ball.
